Craft shows or fairs are always something that we enjoy doing. But why do vendors attend a craft show? Are there benefits in joining a shop that keeps on moving around compare to a shop that is more permanent?

Some crafts show space fees are not expensive, like a non-juried craft show where the fee will be around $30-$100. At times the fee will include free use of table and chairs but this has to be inquired from you event organizers.

Craft shows will be attended by different craft makers with different crafts to display, giving you a good opportunity to create your business network. Mingling and creating a business network will open an opportunity for other vendors or craft makers to talk about their experiences that you can learn from.

To help you improve your craft and business it is best to observe what the customers want and need. You will have more to observe when there are other vendors around, like observing how the customers are reacting to their products compare to your products.
