Reiki Share

There will be a Reiki Share on April 5, 2009 starting from 5:00 P.M. onwards. The location of the Reiki Sharing will be at The Silver Willow, 54 Fall River Ave, Rehoboth, MA 02769. The registration fee will be $10.00 and you will need to bring a notebook with you.

This workshop will be facilitated by Sha Stafford a Reiki Master. This is a workshop in where all different level of Reiki practitioners will gather to learn from the Reiki master and learn by the sharing of other practitioners about their different experiences.

For the past twenty years Sha Stafford has been healing clients with the use of tarot, runes, the pendulum and psychometrics. She is considered as a psychic intuitive healer. She has also gained the trust of her clients through the credibility she has established within the twenty years. Sha Stafford got her Reiki masters from the institute of Usui System of Natural Healing. This institute has been certified by the American Institute of Natural Healing in Reflexology, Acupressure, and Chinese Herbology

Naperville Home Improvement Showcase will be held on April 3 to April 5, 2009 at Players Indoor Sports Center, 1740 W. Quincy, Naperville, IL. The show time is 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. for Friday, April 3, on Saturday, April 4 it will be 10:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. and on Sunday, April 5 it will be 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The Naperville Home Improvement Showcase is a showcase of different house improvements and repair products. There will be exhibitors that will showcase their products and services. Admission fee is free for the public. The parking space is for free and will be enough for everyone.

For this Home Improvement Showcase there will be a lot of exhibitors. These exhibitors will range from Architects, builders, re modelers, landscapers, retail suppliers and other professionals with expertise in the home improvement. So there will be a lot that you can choose from.

At Kilauea the home of Pele, the Hawaiian goddess of the volcano is where the Volcano Art Center is located. With all the volcanic action this area gets it has becomes so dynamic and powerful, it creates new land form daily. The community in this area derives their tradition and culture with how dynamic and powerful the area is.

The Volcano Art Center was created to promote, develop, and perpetuate the artistic and cultural heritage of Hawaii’s people and environment and this vision is put into life through the activities in the visual, literary, and performing arts. Their members are composed of artists, performers, writers, scientists and educators. VAC presents different variety shows, craft shows and fairs every year to promote their vision and culture.

One of the Volcano Art Center activities for this year is the 12th Annual Spring Dance Contest on March 27, 2009 at 7:30 P.M. at Kilauea Military Camp Theater in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This dance contest will be the venue for Big Island choreographers and dancers to reveal their new work.

On April 2, 2009 there will be a Gypsy Nomads concert at The Magic Candle and the concert will start 7:00 P.M. The Magic Candle is at 204 S., Audabon St. at the heart of Irvington. You will not have a hard time looking for the venue.

The Gypsy Nomads makes new age type of music. Their music is made from punk, folk and the vineyards of southern France. They just added cabaret, celtic and neo-medieval flavor to make The Gypsy Nomads type of music. So when you attend their concert do not expect to hear traditional gypsy music.

Even though The Gypsy Nomads is not the typical kind of gypsy song, they still have a very lively kind of music. Some would even consider their music as a high octane and exciting by people who have heard their music. This two men band with Samantha Stephenson for their vocals, percussion, drums and is the songwriter of the group. While Scott Helland that does the guitar, drums, and loops. They are French born artists.

Craft shows or fairs are always something that we enjoy doing. But why do vendors attend a craft show? Are there benefits in joining a shop that keeps on moving around compare to a shop that is more permanent?

Some crafts show space fees are not expensive, like a non-juried craft show where the fee will be around $30-$100. At times the fee will include free use of table and chairs but this has to be inquired from you event organizers.

Craft shows will be attended by different craft makers with different crafts to display, giving you a good opportunity to create your business network. Mingling and creating a business network will open an opportunity for other vendors or craft makers to talk about their experiences that you can learn from.

To help you improve your craft and business it is best to observe what the customers want and need. You will have more to observe when there are other vendors around, like observing how the customers are reacting to their products compare to your products.

Moscow Renaissance Fair, a non non-profit organization and self-sustaining fair in the area will be holding their 36th Annual Moscow Renaissance Fair. This fair will be on May 2 and May 3, 2009 at East City Park, Moscow, Idaho. The admission fee is free for the public and no dogs and alcohol is allowed within the park.

Their aim in every fair is first to maintain the fine quality the Fair then second is to produce and distribute DVD about the Moscow Renaissance Fair. The DVD will show the Moscow Renaissance Fair culture and history. The DVD will be used to attract the different variety of musicians to join in the stage performance and to attract better and finer artist to display their craft in the booths.

The Moscow Renaissance Fair King and Queen will be presented on May 2, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Aside from this activity there will be different bands and performers from different local and national area. The type of music played will be so diverse, music like acoustic folk art, country music, rock, new-age, modern, pop folk, funk songs to the blues.

Spring Craft Faire

Belmont has a quiet residential community within its cultural and technological industry. It is known for its tranquil, safe and desirable place for a family to live in. Great to raise a family because Belmont at has a wooded hills, views of the San Francisco Bay and stretches of open space.

Getting better informed and connected with their community is one way for the Belmont community to get involved with the town matters. It is their sense of community and enjoyment of the towns assets and activities.

Join us on March 21, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Twin Pines Senior and Community Center, Twin Pines Lodge and Cottage to celebrate our 2nd Annual Spring Craft Faire. The admission fee will be free from the public, so come and enjoy the day with us.

A 20th Annual Honor Dance and Spring Celebration (Pow Wow) at MSU Dome on April 24 to April 25, 2009 that is sponsored by the Native American Cultural Awareness Club. There will be an Educational Presentation from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on April 24 and on April 25 there will be Grand Entries Competition Pow Wow from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.

The Native American Cultural Awareness Club is created to promote an awareness and sensitivity to Native American Indian culture and people. They provide a venue where the members will be able to participate in cultural activities to gather more information about their culture. It is for the members to understand their ancestors way of life and see the difference of the lifestyle between the two different times.

Native American or not Native American can join the club just as long as you are a student of the all Minot State University. The club holds a have bi-weekly club meetings during the school year at room 305 in the Student Center. Students and members are encouraged to join the meetings.
