There will be a juried arts and crafts show on April 18 and April 19, 2009. The festival is called the Taste of the Town Art and Crafts Festival this will be held among the selected specialty store at the 1325 Celebrity Circle, Myrtle Beach, Sc, SC 29577. This is a fine arts and crafts show that will be held outdoors without a cover.
There will also be other activities besides the arts and crafts being displayed. All over the festival area there will be stages put up for live entertainment. There will be mimes walking around as well as jugglers, walking on stilts and barber shop quartets.
Vendors will be allowed to set up their booths on April 17 from 4:00 P.M. until evening then on April 18 from 7:00 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. The festival will officially open by 10:00 A.M. on the 18th of April and close by 9:00 P.M.. On April 19 the show will start from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Taste of the Town Art and Crafts Festival has a free admission and parking for the public. For the visitors and customers their parking are will be at the shopping center facility. The vendors have about 13 parking spaces located outside the shopping center. RV parking is allowed to park during the day but for overnight parking this will have to be done at the camp area 5 miles away from the shopping center.
There will be electricity provided for the vendors by the promoters without any additional charges but the promoters will not be able to provide for the water. Modern restrooms will be located within the shopping center facility. Tables and chairs will not be provided for by the promoters. Vendors are advised to bring their own tables and chairs.
For craft and arts vendors who wish to attend this Taste of the Town Art and Crafts Festival the space fee is $150.00. Since this is a juried craft show the vendors will need to submit a signed application with pictures or slide of their work and the booth they plan to have.
