Kroger and Miller Lite will sponsor this year Krogers Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront. The Fest will start on Thursday April 23 at the Great Lawn then will continue on to May 1 at the eve of the derby. All you need is the Pegasus Pin to attend the Fest. The show will start from 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. from Monday to Saturday, on Sunday it will start on 12:00 Noon to 11:00 P.M.
To start off the Krogers Fest-a-Ville there will be a U.S. Bank Great Balloon Glimmer. After which other activities like the Run for the Rose, American Founders Bank Derby Festival WineFest and the AT&T Volleyball Classic will follow. These activities will be enjoyed by all the different age group.
Daily activities will be the Bourbon Country a daily showcase of Kentucky Bourbons and an International beer garden and food. On April 25 and April 26 there will be an AT&T Volleyball Classic from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. There is also an inflatable playground that kids can enjoy from 12:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M. daily.
There will also be a Chow Wagon that will feature the best in carnival style food, beer garden and live music. The cuisine will be derived from Greek, Italian and Mexican origins. The Blue Moon Tap Room will also be open serving a full bar.
There will be live bands performed by local and national musicians having different musical genes ranging from urban, Latino, country and rock. The concert will be sponsored by Miller Lite. You will surely enjoy the free concert while tasting the different cuisines and at the same time you will get to enjoy the clean breeze form the Ohio River bank.
