Knowing and believing that our hobbies can make a profit. Not only do our hobbies make us happy but we know that anything we create out of love will be beautiful for our customers. Now all we need to know now is how to apply for a California Craft Show.

We first need to know where the California Craft Shows will be held. There are sites online about the California Craft Shows. It is advisable for beginners to start with craft shows near their area. This is so there will be lesser investment needed and when you have lower investment it will be easier to break even and not get too disappointed.

You know where and when you will have your craft show now you will need to know more about that craft show. Like if the craft show is a juried or a non-juried craft show, how much is the space fee, what is included in the space fee and know where and when you can apply for the craft show.

If the craft show is a non-juried type then there will be less things to prepare for you to apply. While for a juried craft show you will need to present a resume, pictures of your craft or your other shows, list of craft shows you have attended and a sample of you products. Or there might be other requirements that your event organizers will require before they give you an application kit.

Not only is there a space fee difference between a non-juried and juried craft show, but the amount of people attending the show will have its difference. With a juried craft show they make sure that there are more vendors applying then the space available and that the product will have a lot of variations for the customers. While with the non-juried craft show it is for a small community like a bazaar done for a church or a school.

Beginners are advised to attend the non-juried craft show then the juried craft shows. This is because beginners will need to learn more before going to a bigger league. It is best to learn and observe a small community then a big crowded event. But dont forget that every craft show that you attend will serve as your learning ground.
