« Learn Stock Trading-What You Should Know before Trading Business Promotion Through Bookmark Printing »
If you are reading this I assume you are a facebook user and realize that one fifth of the traffic of the www comes to this one site everyday. Question is therefore, how to tap this traffic for profit? What do you do beyond setting up your profile and picture?
Being an avid facebook user and lead generator from this site, I recommend your next activity be to expand your ‘friends’ circle to attract the people you’d like to work with. So where do you find them? There’s a ‘search’ bar on the top of facebook. Locate that and type your interest area in there. For instance, if I were to do this I’d type ‘network marketers’. A lot of “people”, “groups” and “pages” will show up.
Having got the options, open one of the pages / groups and scroll down to the place where they display the members / fans. Right-click to see them all in a new tab. This is the list of people who share your interest. How do you know? Because that’s why they had subscribed to this page to begin with!
Your task is to “Add as a friend” about 40-50 of them everyday. It takes about 10 minutes to do so. And while you do, copy-paste a one-line “personal message” that helps them associate with you. Else they will wonder about your motives behind befriending and you won’t start a relationship of trust. I use a line like, “Hi xxx, looks like we have xxxxxx in common! I specialize in teaching people to get profitable online and could put my 20 years of business experience to your good use. Let’s connect!” Obviously you’ll make relevant changes.
As you start getting friend acceptances you can message them or chat with them or invite them to other things you do on facebook. To make a good profile with all your interests specified is therefore key… so your friends can know you. And to select the right groups is also important to address the right target members.
Concurrently you can start to join groups in your interest area. The advantage of doing so is you can post ads and articles on the wall and discussion boards for other members to see. If they see value in what you say they will come to your site and that’s traffic! You can also start your own group and invite your friends to it. This way you will be able to message them with your ideas and links and come across as a leader who fosters interactions. Do not be too salesy in all of this… keep to moderation and let everyone enjoy your company.
Videos work very well on facebook too. As a communication platform facebook allows you to record videos directly (see an icon titled ‘Video’ among the icons at the bottom left of page). You can also upload existing videos from your computer. Same for photos. And these can be tagged with the names of the people you want to do business with. For example if you sell jewelry, you could tag a collection to 20 prospects and the pictures / video would be visible to them on their own profile page. Convenient, isn’t it? Note, just make sure your accompanying message is clear and this doesn’t appear spammy.
Likewise, you can attach links to friend’s walls. This draws their attention and attention of their friends to your article / message. It’s important to ensure you are providing value and spamming your links though.
Another tip is to create an event around any business event (like a seminar) you might be having. Events can spread virally so you can get great bang for little effort. Make sure your intent and content is always right or your friend relationships might suffer. If they are, you’ll blossom!
